River City Choppers was formed in 1998. The company provides aircraft maintenance and engineering services, specializing in helicopters.

The proprietor, Lance Tanner, is currently celebrating over 30 years in the industry with Transport Canada licences, M1 and M2. He also holds endorsements on BH06, BH04/5, BH12, BH14, BH41, S350, EC120, and HU50 as well as considerable experience on Sikorsky S-61 helicopters.

The last 3 decades have included considerable airframe and structures repair as well as component repair and overhaul.

The company is able to provide advice on aircraft procurement, as well scheduled and unscheduled maintenance. Consultation on modifications with a Design Approval Representative is also available.

River City Choppers is an authorized distributor for FLIR® Thermal Imaging Systems. Supplementary Type Certificates through Transport Canada for the EVS3™ on several helicopter models are pending.
